when i shift from 1st to 2nd at low and high RPM's the shift isnt smooth at all. once i get it out of 1st i almost have to force it into 2nd. it's killing me. does anyone know what might be wrong if anything.. thanks a lot.

1st - 2nd is the toughest gear change in the integra.. all the other gears are smoother.. At least thats what i've noticed in my tegra.. It kinda grinds when i shift to 2nd.. but not in any other gears.

 

clutch master cylinder and slave might need to be changed

 

that's what a lot of people have been telling me. im going to bring it by the dealership this week just to make sure everything is OK. thanks.

is it extremely hard to get from first to second? Do you have to yank into gear?There is the most resistance from first to second in my teg aswell.

it's not impossible to get into 2nd, it's just much harder then any other gear. i cant just slip it into gear, i have to almost jam it in. ive talked to a lot of people this weekend and they've all told me nothing is wrong. im still a little concerned. what do you think?

 

yeah i noticed that too. its juss a lil bitharder to get into second.
