Default shifting

hey guys, i know this is a really dumb question but im new to integras. At what point on the rpm gauge is best to shift at for good milage and performance. I dont know much about integras yet.

between 2 and the 3

if you read the gauge closely it says rpm x1000 or something

you're new to integras? I think you're new to cars in general.
The 1-2-3-4-5..as you put is is the RPM gauge and as someone mentioned above, each number represents a 1000 RPM (revolutions per minute). So when you're at 3 its 3000 RPM. Shift at around 2.5~3.5k for good gas milage.

first i must say , baaahhhh , ( sorry ) , second , i would shift at like 2.5 to 3 on a norm day(i know its been said) if i dont need to go fast , or accelerate much. . . when im racing or wanting to go fast shift at like 6900 ( almost to the 7 or so , with an ls) and 8000 (the 8 on the tach) with a gsr

hope that helped , dont go playign around all fast and try n "race" right now till you know how to and are comfortable driving . ..

shift at whatever you want, it's your car...you gotta figure this stuff out on your own...
