Default shift linkages, tubular or solid?

here's a link to a thread i started about making some lightweight shift linkages, just b/c i can now:
https://honda-tech.com/zero...29204
i have access to a sizeable machine shop, and [i believe] have sufficient knowledge to create them. in order to calculate the strength of the stock linkages, i need to know if they are solid or tubular, and if they are tubular, what thickness is it? anybody got a broke/bent one they would cut apart for me and check or something? or maybe you already know . . .
