Default Shift linkage question.

When i bought this shell it came with the shift linkage seperated from the motor. It looks as if the guy has bent the very end of the linage where the actual shifter connects. Does anyone have a real close picture of that end so i can bend it back into shape. This is for a 94 integra rs. thanks.

sorry, maybe i didn't explain well enough. i know that it should have bends in it. However where the actual "shifter" connects to the linkage im unsure if that part is bent or straight.

If it's Too small/big for the shifter to fit, just bend it the right way.
It's nothing major, and get some type of spacer for the extra open area if it's not much.

so by what your saying, it doesn't really matter the angle that the shifter is actually sitting? just as long as the space where the linkage connects to the shifter is as tight as possible?

pretty much, you should atleast make sure they're straight to begin with,
Then bend them around a little if it's too big or small.

i bent the **** outta mine puttin my GSR swap it, and with my immense arm of steel i bent it back to fit, jk about the arms of steel, its quite easy to bend back into the spot you want it to be at, just wear gloves because its probably dirty and slippery as hell

alright so heres what i did. i basically got it straight enough to where i could get the bolt through both holes, put a nut on it, and tightened it down. Basically it bent the sides in making a tight squeeze on the shifter. Sound about right? Thanks for everyones help.

should be fine, there are bearings in the shifter, you can always go back and loosen them up if they are too tight
