Shift Knobs...
Ok time for a new shift **** because mine is all worn and look like ish.
Anyone who has the Spoon or Mugen ***** one question before I buy a new one.
Do either the Mugen or Spoon ***** screw on and fit like stock? I just don't want the boot to fall down like I have seen with some of the other ***** out there...TIA

I don't believe that the **** has the provision to hold the shift boot up...my solution is to purchase the JDM itr shift boot and leave it be...but that's me.
Thanks you made me get off my *** and goo look.
I just took off the **** and in fact it doesn't hold the boot up. The boot just stays up on it own. So I guess now I just buy which ever looks better

The heavier the shift ****, the easier/smoother the shifts will be.
Anyways, I don't think the ITR shift **** sits lower than an OEM gsr shift ****. I've seen pics of the ITR one and the shift boot was hanging below exposing the shifter.
However, there's an easy way to fix this ugly appearance. You'll have to take out the shift boot first, (you might as well switch to a JDM red stitched shift boot while you're at it
) then use a zip tie to tie it around the shifter. Then insert shift boot. This way the shift boot top is held up by the zip tie and wont slip down. It'll look like this:
Notice that its in 1st gear, and yet the shift boot does not slip down.
Sorry crappy pic.

OR hehe, u could use a shift boot ring like the Si's or the 97 ITRs that connect to the **** (an Si or prelude SH ****) and the boot basically sticks to the **** and doens't expose the shifter at all, i'm using it like that i think it looks sick.
ahh ic, my cousin has a b&m, itr boot, and spoon ***, and the boot doesnt move at all, it doesnt expose anything, perfect actually. do the spoon **** sit lower on the shifter or something
