setup question
does anyone have this same or similar setup? ( Gsr block with ctr pistons, stock bore, stock rods, and type r cams on a gsr head?) if so how much power are u putting out with that setup. i was thinking about either going that route or a turbo. looks like the none turbo route will be less expensive.
edit. also another question. do the ctr pistons fit on the gsr rods without any modification?
somebody has to have this setup help me out

lots of ppl have that setup. its pretty common and a very mild set up. but hey you do make power off it. just search. and yes everything will work. you wanna get some apr rod bolts while your at it to. let me know how it works out for you. only thing is ctr pistons are pretty agressive, ur compression gonna be pretty high. you mite have some trouble running 91 and 93 octane, as long as you have a good tune you should be fine. but it is possible . try searching for some jdm itr pistons or some p30 pistons .

thank you for your input at least one person tries to help.
actually i was thinking to use those pistons and get blox type b cams with springs and retainters and just use the stock valves. since it is going to be high compression. I know a good tuner so the tuning wont be a problem. i just really wnat to make sure that the ctr pistons will fit on the gsr rods. basically are the wrist pins the same size?
i have rebuilt a gsr motor before . but i was just replacing stock pistons and rods so i never had to worry about knowing whether or not they are compatible
