is this sensor needed??

under where the tb would be is this sensor that is on with 3 10mm bolts..is that needed??
im installing a 94 intake manifold on my 92.

That is the FITV if I'm looking at it right. It can be deleted if you want to.

so there are 2 coolant hoses on the left side 1 big 1 small, the big gets looped back in, so...i need to just loop the small like the big one correct??
