I'm guessing
Thermostat switch
Temperature/Water switch
Oil Pressure switch.

Re: (Rikter)
I think its the oil pressure sensor, I followed the wire down to the bottom where I could still see, I just wanted to make sure, thanks again.

* the red cover is the distributor cover if this helps.

Re: (JohnnyH)
After going to honda 2 seperate times, none of the parts people can locate the sensor part number, I know its the oil pressure sensor on the vtec control, but does anyone know the part number or the actual part name?

the engine is a b16a2

thanks,

mitch

Re: (meotch)
is the sensor itself broke or is it just the connector?

Hmm... is that located right infront of the distributor? (towards your front bumper). According to my honda system here the oil switch is located at the back of the block. If that's where it is it's part #37240-PT0-014. However in your original pic that looks like an MSD cap (transparent red) right beside the switch.

More info

Re: (ProJectCvic)
I think it is the ECT. Why don't you get the Cel code and that will confirm which sensor it is.

Re: (ProJectCvic)
Here is the printscreen of the manual that i m looking at. Maybe you can take it to the dealer and have them located you the part. Although from your picture, it doesn't look like the sensor itself is damage but just the connector. Its the c122 connector if I remember correctly
