Sensor on the block

I'm swapping a b18c type r into my 92 gsr and on my b17 there is a green sensor next to the oil pressure switch. In the picture above there is a plug where the sensor would be. My type r doesn't have that sensor ... what is the sensor?
the connector has what looks like a yellow/green wire or maybe a white/green it could be faded and a black wire.

if you are still running the p63 GSR ecu you should put the plug from the b17 onto the ITR block, but if you are prunning a P28, p72, or p73 ecu then you do not need to plug it in, the plug only came in the DA chasis

I believe it came in most all older Hondas, including 90-93 Accords and 88-91 Civics. That's why you'll often hear the fan running on those older Hondas even after the engine is turned off. Newer Hondas don't do that.

that is very true, I did not properly phrase my answer
I meant to say it only came on b-series engines in the DA chasis of the integras

when i did a oil change awhile ago, i saw that i had the wire and clip from the harness but mine is plugged up just like his ITR block. i have an original motor in my 90' gs. so why's mine plugged? i have the clip for it, it just hangs there.
