Re: seized rear brake caliper
+1. get a re-manufactured one from Napa or the like. I noticed that when I was in a pinch and had to get a caliper from Advance, it was a Nissin piece.

Hey all... total newb here, in fact this is my first post to your fine forum.
Just wanted you to know that I followed the directions here to disassemble some 2005 Accord rear calipers and it worked like a charm!
I'll let you know how the rebuild goes and post before/afters. For background, I'm a 48 year old artist with no previous experience of brakes. I've helped friends out with cars in the past, but this is a project that I threw myself into on my own.
So... thank you all for sharing your knowledge. what a fantastic wealth of info are the Interwebs!!!
Also, the vibe here seems to be nicer than on another forum that starts with "drive" and ends with "accord". ;-)
