Default Security????

i was wondering what kind of alarm you guy's would recommend. keep in mind i don't have an unlimited bank roll (no 5000 dollar alarms with lazers n ****) also expandability would be nice cuz then i could add more stuff when the wallet allows

thanx -- peace out

what kind of features are you looking
for an alarm??

well the new fad now
is alarms with keychain pagers just to name two
popular brands for around (150-200) plus install
and they have a greater distance than regular alarms....
prestige
viper

but dont forget an alarms is just an alarm nothing else
if they really want it they will take it...

just straight up security, i was thinking i was gonna get one with a remote starter but then i read all the posts about how bad it was to warm your car up (now having second thoughts, and could add that later if i so decided) but window/sunroof roll up would be tight, cuz some times i'm a dumbass and turn off my car and shut the door then notice i left my window down
and of course it would need to be able to lock/unlock my doors

thanx

Try the Aladin, Prestige, or anything with a pager. Just remember, that every major alarm company has wiring diagrams on how to install on the internet. So all a theif has to do is study and he'll have your car in 2 seconds flat because he already knows the appropriate wires to cut and disconnect. My last two cars have been stolen, so I learned my lesson. Just by a good alarm, and do a custom job that nobody else will know about.

what I suggest is buying this type
of alarm with remote start plus pager
remote start could be connected later on
and its not bad to warm up your car
whats your location????
and roll up its an extra module needed
door locks, all alarms have them only if they are powered...

stay away from the 'Aladdin"

it is JUNK and RICE (the pager is the selling point, the alarm sucks)

All of those features come on the $250 alarm? That sounds amazing. I would pay that much just for the keyless entry and auto windows and whatnot.
