Same as ITR chassis?
Are all 94-01 Integra's chassis the same as the ITR?
I'm setting my ride height and I've got some numbers from the center of the wheel hub to the fender on an ITR an wondering if there were any difference in body panels and such that would throw the numbers off?

The difference in body panels are only from the 97 front end to the 98+ front end. Other main differences are stiffer chassis and additional chassis rigdity bars, such as the performance bar in the trunk and the rear sway. But nothing as far as fenders or quarterpanels are any different.
i dont think the type r has seam welds.... thats expensive for a car company...
all the g3 integras share the same main chassis....
the reason the type r has a stiffer chassis is becuase of the parts placed on it. you could make any integra as stiff as the type r.

You would have to do much welding and part replacement to make a non ITR DC chassis as stiff as the ITR.

Here some mundane details for you
The rear interior quarter panels are similar but not the same between the type R and other model integras. How do I know? I bought some type R ones and put them in my teg. At first, I thought the a55hole that sold them to me did some kinda custom work and cut out some of the plastic where it meets the rear seat. Turns out its supposed to be that way. I looked into a friend's type R and saw that where the bottom portion of the rear seats ( chassis I'm assuming ) sits.....it "sticks" out further on the side. My teg didn't have that
That and the rear panel in the trunk has some pre cut holes for the back bar that sits in the trunk of all itrs. Oh yea...that and my friend's type R did NOT have a map light. It did have the dome light though.. Aside from that...the other panels are similar.

This info is correct. All the body panels are the same, but there are lots of improvement on the chasis and the subframe.
As far as hand made goes, I know the B18C5 engines are hand made, not too sure about the chasis itself. I wouldn't be suprised if there are some welding done by people instead of machines specifically for the ITR. It was such a special vehicle for Honda and it wasn't high production, they could afford doing something different on it.
