Default Rust proofing!

Ok so I recently got a new car for work only, but it looks to have not been rust proofed yet(2012 accord). What types of undercoat/rust proof are there? and how much should I expect to spend, it came from the Niagara falls area which gets little to no snow. But now its up north where we see up to 4.5ft of snow and tons of salt/sand.

my FIT came rust proofed and my teg I never drove in the winter, so yah no I'm not using that "in a can stuff" that was a bad idea.

I use epoxy "from a can" on the fender lips and suspension pieces. I use 3M rubber undercoat "from a can"on top of that.

You can do POR 15...which is high level stuff. Also from a can...but gets brushed on.

POR-15/similar is what I was thinking of (brush on stuff in general) I'm assuming that you can just brush it on like paint?. or could I just go to one of those rust proof places like "Krown" and that's what they use, it's not my car but I'm allowed to keep it at my house etc/take care of it.

So why bother spending your own money to rust proof it? I could use a set of wheels or something if you're writing checks?

then use the paint from a can. It's never failed me and it looks professional (if you know wtf you're doing).

Or buy POR on the internet.

POR-15, it's pretty impressive stuff. Once it dries it's extremely tough, almost like powder coat.
