Default rust

I have just small amount of rust on my car. Has anybody used a rust dissolver such as this before? I would like tp spend just a few dollars to fix the problem as it is really a small area. But I will spend more if I have to.

If the rust is on the body of the car, that stuff will probably eat right through the panel, if it works how i think it works. Plus it will probably peel the paint off all around. I have a bottle of stuff like that i tried to use on my steelie rims, it worked well, ate through the rust and turned it into primer like it said, but it also ate through rust i couldnt see and peeled big chunks of the chrome off, which also made fixing it properly (Sanding, then repainting) even harder on the wheels i used it on, because the "primer" it turns the rust into is a pain to sand down.

But yeah, post pictures, if its just some light rust stains from bolts leaking or something, then this will probably work if you put some on a cloth and lightly rub it over the rust streak. I did that with my licence plates, took the rust off without eating the paint, made them look brand new.
