Running without a PCV

What are the downsides of running without a PCV? Just running the tube directly into the IM?

I know that the oil will just directly get sucked into the IM, but what are the other downsides?

im running the hose straight cuz my pcv valve broke....i havent felt anything different

My car bogs real bad when it's cold especially idle/low rprm range.
