Yesterday I installed my new fuel pump in my 91 teg, but my af meter reads that I'm running lean always, in fact CEL code 43 It's a 255lph walbo pump. Also replaced the fuel filter and o2 sensor checked wiring on af meter it's good to go. Any ideas what the problem is....

 

Whats your entire setup?

 

p73 pistons, msd ignition, 404cams, skunk 2 gears, ajustable fuel pressure reg, fuel pump, intake and exhaust

 

Is this an autometer guage? At WOT, what bar is it stuck on?

Are you sure everything is installed properly...43 means defective fuel supply, not necessarily lean. Did this just happen after installing the pump?

 

I was getting CEL 43 before the pump install, yup it's autometer and at Wot it goes up to the last lean bar also the fpr is set 56psi.
