Default Rumbling when accelerating

Hey HT I have a problem with my '97 GSR. While I was driving down the freeway my car started to shake pretty violently, I mean like the whole car. I got off the ramp and pulled over to the nearest neighborhood. After finding no obvious problem, I drive back home (it was about 5 minutes from where I lived).

I take off the front wheels to inspect the axles, axles looked completely fine I although did find greenish grease splattered around one side of the car. I thought it could have been brake fluid, but fluid was topped off. I checked the tie rods, the bushings are shot, but I had already known about that, and were in the same condition from when I checked it last time. Tires are fairly new, it has about 60% tread life left. Alignment should be perfectly fine. I'm not that lowered, still have about 1 1/2 to 2 inch gap throughout the whole car. I thought it could have been motor mounts, but when the car idles it sits pretty smooth, when i'm not in gear and accelerate the engine revs up and down fine as well. It's only when i'm in motion that it does this. It does this no matter what rpm i'm at and what speed i'm at. I want to take it to a shop but I don't want to drive it, and I don't want to pay money for $100 diagnosis. Check engine light is on, because my intake manifold sensor is disconnected (this is recent I just got a new manifold and the new sensor position was different so the plug wire isn't long enough).

Take your wheels to get balanced.
Maybe the wheel weights fell off and caused sudden vibration.

For your wire issue. Extend the wires to the new manifold.

That green grease is from the CV boot(drive shaft) aka axel so inspect the boots and yes bad tie rods can do what you're describing. The ones one my civic were shot and it sounded like what you're saying, to check the engine mounts grab on the intake manifold and try rocking the engine back n fourth/side to side. Don't let something like tierods get to that point it's far from safe.

The thing is when I was driving I was actually going to go pick up new rims/tires, it happened on my old set of wheels. I called the person I was picking up the wheels from and told him to meet at my house instead so we can make the transaction there, threw the new tires on and the problem still persist. Another thing when i'm cruising as in already in motion, and put it into neutral the car will coast smoothly, it's only when i'm in gear and accelerating is when the shaking comes up. Hah yeah I know I should extend the wires but I don't drive the car too much and truthfully I neglect it (I know I shouldn't)

Hmm okay I'll try to look at the boot again, but there weren't any rips on it from what I could tell, is there a possibility that the grease blew out? I'll try to fix both tie rods as soon as possible. I've been neglecting the car lately cause of Christmas and money for presents means no money for car repairs or parts for me )= but I should be able to bounce back up pretty soon.
