Default rhd conversion

is it hard to swap it?.. ior should have a shop do it?...if a so how much would they charge to do something like that? anyone have a shop do it how much did u have to pay... thanks brandon

forget it.

(edit) the logistics just arnt there. in any rwd vehicle theres gotta be a driveshaft. the integra has very little if any room for that, plus theres just so much more involved, like youd propably have to rotate the engine 90* for the driveshaft. that is of course if you want to keep the engine up front. you could always just make it a mid-engine, like the nsx, and that setup has been done before:

basically, FORGET IT if you cant do everything yourself, it takes ALOT of time, even longer than reading that thread.

LMAO! Just swap the firewall dood. 1).Take everything out (engine/harness/dash/etc)2).Cut old firewall.3).Weld new firewall in.4).Put everything back. There, thats it in a nutshell

Ha, I wish it was that easy but your pretty much correct! Im starting my RHD sedan project in a couple weeks.

yeah do all that but dont "cut" your firewall out. DRILL it out if you plan on doing a RHD conversion. check out my RHD BUILD THREAD

Well I dont literally mean cut it out, like drill out the spot welds and such, just opening the door for him so he has an idea where to start searching and looking

i seen my friends do it and it is a pain in the a$$. Drilling out all the spot weld is time consuming and when you strip your front end you better make sure you know where everything goes back. That is the reason why I bought myself a rhd instead.

yeah thats true but its fun and you can take all the credit for it when the car is completed.
