K well I need to get inspected soon but my reverse lights are acting werid. Sometimes they wont come on at all. Then sometimes they will flash once. But when I put it into reverse and hold it there the lights will stay on. What could cause this?? Need help fast.

 

Usually there is a switch of some sort on the tranny that activates the lights when you shift into reverse. I had to replace that switch on another car of mine a few years ago.

 

K well when I pull the switch out will it start draining the tranny fluid:?

 

On the other car I did(a Ford Probe) the switch was on the top of the tranny so, no, it didn't leak out. It was a really quick fix. I'll have to look at my GSR and see if I can find the switch.

 

Well I have a ITR tranny so do I need to get a itr one or does any one work that is for an integra

 

Well I replaced the reverse light switch and its still not working right. It goings on when I put it in reverse and hold if but once I let off the shifter if turns off. Any idea why?
