Default rev problem?

i got a 97 gsr and all da time i turn it on it revs up to 2000rpm or 1500rpm and it doesnt go down...i got a obd1 p72 on it wat do you think it is????

Vac leak or bad ECU...could also be the dizzy...

it dont gave vac leak because if you take one off it rev even more

Only one way to reset an ecu...this will only be a very shortterm solution...

see if your throttle cable is sticking or to tight

well, slap on your stock ecu and see if the problem still persists. If your prob goes away then its the obd1 ecu thats causing your prob.

check your throttle body.. that ball joint mite be lose to tyte it up, it happen to my friend couple year back, but then he got it fix, and thats the reason why..
