rev grind
hey,
I got my gsr today and so for I love it. I didn't have any problems with it except for later tonight I noticed when I reved to about 3000 rpms (about where I shift) the engine sounded almost like it was grinding. I thought maybe it was the vtec kicking in, but I don't think they switch over until around 6000 rpms. The grinding was worst when I reved hard, but I noticed a little when i reved calmy as well. Maybe it's just an engine sound that I'm not used to... I don't know. If anybody could tell me what the grinding sound may be that would be great... thanks!

Problem with many GSR's. The A-pipe (pipe between the exhaust manifold and the cat) has an internal problem that causes it to rattle at around 3,000 rpm. The fix is to replace the A-pipe. Maybe time to buy a header?
