resignators
are resignators very restrictive. do you lose any hp from putting one on.. also, can you run a header, cat, bpipe, resignator and no muffler. will it be too loud. is that legal. thanks.

They're a little restrictive but that's a trade off for the reduced noice and quieter exhaust.

If your Greddy is too loud, you only have two choices: add a resonator or install a restrictor plug in the tailpipe. I think the resonator would definitely be the way to go from a power point of view. If it's still too loud you could add the restrictor for long road trips or for when your gf is riding in the car...
My comptech catback has a 22" long by 6" diameter resonator. That, along with the moderate (3.5") tip help keep things on the quiet side. You might want to try to find one of similar size as it seems to fit pretty well under the car.

I have a Greddy Evo exhaust on my car (NA) with no Cat and DC headers. Its loud as all hell. I have only been pulled over once but that was because I reved it up in front of a cop cause the bastard cut me off.
