Since the search function is not working properly I am having trouble finding answers to my questions. I'm replacing a thermostat in an integra today. Can anyone please explain the install for me. Thanks. I have never done this before, but I am learning how do all this on my own, so any help would be great. Pictures help too. Thanks.

Clear a path to work.

Remove the ground strap and disconnect the fan thermoswitch connector.

Remove a couple of 10mm bolts and crack open the housing.

When you install the new thermostat, make sure the alignment pin faces in teh correct orientation.

 

that's about it, just make sure that the surfaces are clean and the alignment pin is facing the right way

I just pop off the housing, swap the thermostats, pop it back on, bleed the lines and go to town

That isnt my site...its Trey's (Asahi on HT). I believe he was at the expo, although I dont remember for sure.

 

i replaced my stock thermostat with a mugen, i dont think it really did anything

 

It probably won't show on the ECT gauge until you add water wetter.
