replaced starter and battery still no start?!?!?!
i have an 94 integra 5spd and recently my car wont start till i turn the key like 20-50 times.at times it will start after 1 turn.i replaced the starter and the battery and it still giving me the same problems...is there another part im suppose to replace?help honda-tech!!
is there a way i can check if they are still working?i dont want to buy both items and ends up not being both of them..

dont post up much cause im kinda out of the honda scene but ill give it a shot. This problem is very very common ammoung VW/audi/porsche. 9 times out of 10 the ignition switch is the problem, pull the covers off, and you should be able to unplug the switch from the key mechanism, try turning it with screw driver or something that way you can see it turn and see if there are problems. I don tknow about honda ignition switches but the VW part is like 24 bucks.

get a test light, test the signal wire on starter when attempting to crank. If light from test light goes on then problem w/ starter still. If not, then peek your head under the dash, look for the clutch sensor plug. Unplug it, and bypass it w/ a paperclip. Try to start car. If it still doesnt work. Try checking start wire at ignition switch. I will reply back w/ proper wire color, have to look it up.

If there is no clicking sound coming from the starter solenoid, then check the Black/White wire on the Ignition Switch harness. That is the the starter input wire. Use test light and see if it lights up when you go to crank position. Let's us know what you find...
