Default Removing the unwanted

Here somewhat of an odd question. When i bought my car i didnt pay to much attention to the cruise control feature it has. one day i tried using it and it didnt work. No big deal, now i find myself wanting to remove it all together. if i remove the actuater box and unhook the electrical connector will it show up as engine trouble code or is it ok to scrap the damn thing. and if it is how do i remove all the wires as well.

Why wouldn't you just leave it on there...
What if you sell the car?

Whynot just fix the cruise? Cruise control keeps me out of trouble.

No doubt. My G2 didnt have it, my newer G3 does and I would never touch a highway without it.

I'd like to know about this also, since I'm probably removing mine soon. Anyone know of a DIY?

i pulled mine out. no it wont throw any codes or anything. The hardest part is removing the wire from the pedal, and thats just cause you have to reach under the dash, i think i just cut mine.

It's easy to take off. If you look at it and know how its hooked on.
