removing a/c isnt fun
hey i need guidance on how to remove my a/c. i feel like an *** right now. i was removing 1 of the 2 silver caps on the condensoner. (thing behind the radiator) and some white **** stprayed all over my hands and it burns like ****. im scared to remove the 2nd one now cuz i dont want to get blasted again! so if some1 can help me or show me pics on how to remove a/c thanks. god i feel like an ***
You probably should have vented the system first before unbolting parts. Oh well, you can probably just take everything out now since the system is not pressurized anymore.
It should have sprayed out for like 5 min. If you can find the a connector inbetween lines, loosen them and let that **** spray out. Taking the A/C out if very easy just start loosening bolts and taking stuff off. Go all the way back to the back of the battery and you will see where the two A/C lines go in the firewall and you can remove all the way to those.

LoL aint that the truth
My friend and I took out the AC in his 98 LS. Our dumbasses thought the freon in the lines was only a gas, little did we know the R134 systems have oil in them too. We got a nice splash in our faces venting out the system lol. After that we put a rag over the refill valve on one of the lines n held a screwdriver to vent it out. **** The Environment!

Freon is bad not R134 (I'm Pretty sure). Plus if it was freeon..if you had someone recollect that you could have easily made $200 if not $250 for it. That stuff i sVERY expensive. I know for sure 94+ Integra's used the newer/cheaper/safer stuff so it isn't worth anything to the enviorment or you.
