Is there any difference between the 94-97 rear hatch and the 98-01?? I'm considering picking up a cf hatch for my teg and the seller isn't too familiar with it. I vaguely recall hearing some slight differences in the 2, but I'm not completely sure. TIA
From what i know the 94-97 integra's dont have a latch in the back to open it. U have to pull the little tab next to the gas door opener. The (8-01 have a latch where u put your hand to lift it open in the back. Not to sure what fitment differences there may be but that is one difference that im sure of.
Savannahdc2 is right, but his wording is a little off I think
The hatches should be the same except for that yeah, there isn't a button under the handle (that locks and unlocks with the car) to pull it up on the 94-97s like there is on the 98-01s. The 94-97 hatches have to be physically unlatched to pull them up and open them (ie. this means that there's no "locked" or "unlocked", merely "open" or "closed") This is obvious but you don't have to *only* pop it from inside; it works with a key too
I hope I didn't confuse anyone, but I just wanted to be concise. Good luck!
