Rattle in the back
In the back of my car there is a rattling sound coming from something, it happens everytime i go over bumps and things. I thought it was something with the suspension but i dont think it is. I took it to get checked out and everything was ok, there bushings were fine and everything was tight. Nothings rolling around in the trunk or anything because i took everything out and i am stumped now. The car has coilovers, 17 inch wheels and rear sway bar, if that helps.

its your springs compressing....what happens is when u go over bumps the coils hit the other coils and it sounds like rattling..i have the same problem.
if it is the same problem i have, you can buy these rubber things that wrap around the spring. I lost the part number from acura..but ill try to take some pics.

Easy fix..Take some electrical tape, and wrap it around the truck latch...Also, make sure the rear windsheild wiper motor cover is secure...The plastic piece that covers the motor...Give that a couple hits to make sure it's completely snapped in..I did both of these, and my rattle is finally gone....Hope this helps....
I have a small rattle/tick tick that only happens on smooth roads and at freeway speeds somewhere near the rear wheels. It happened with the old stock suspension and now with new coilovers and springs, so it isn't the springs. Just sounds like a wire or something moving inside the body somewhere at high speed and making a nice tick against the interior plastic or something. No one has been able to find it yet!!
I have the same damn problem. The dealer tried to pin it on my swaybar but I think its the hatch. Check the lift shocks. One of mine makes noise at the ball joint where it connects to the hatch. I am taking it into the dealer next week to have them fix it.
