Default Rate: JDMshit header

Any one have experience with these headers? I heard they're almost exactly the same as some Megan headers out on Ebay, and people have complained the Megan headers are prone to breaking and cracking...

I hear good things about JDMshit (proven gains, great for the price), but how's the durability? And does anyone have a dyno result on these things?

I've heard good things about both headers. I'd take a JDMSh!t header over a Megan one though.

the only megan header i've ever seen crack was under the circumstance that someone bolted it up without spring bolts or a flexpipe. without one of those, it has no give for engine flex, so it cracked.

I'm guessing any header will crack under those conditions.

jdmshit header all the way. Would take this header over all others until you start really spending the cash.

I purchased a Megan 4-1 awhile back and after recieving it I wished I had bought the JDMShit one. The collector on JDS one is far better done than the Megan. Can't complain on mine though, since i got it for dirt cheap. JDMShit

Exactly. Good weld or not, it will crack over time.

i think it's pretty obvious what caused this. this could have the best welds you've ever seen in your life. i'm sure you guys have seen an engine rev while the hood was open. it flexes a good amount.

Exactly. Good welds won't do anything if you don't have it installed correctly.

yea, but the metal should have falied first because a weld done right would be stronger that the metal on the object welded. im not saying its bad quality just stating that it could be a bad batch that caused that crack

actually, now that i look at it, that isn't a weld where it's broken. it's broken right in front of the o2 bung, which is in between welds.
