Random vtec controller question
Hey If I gett a vtec controller wich is apexi and I will use it on a 95 b18c1(gsr), will it give me any gains? I got stock ecu and ALL STOCK MOTOR. Its in a 95 civic si. BTW thats true that intake valves on gsr go off at like 6.5 and the exhaust go off at like 4.5..........right? so if I get my vtec controller, were should I adjust the vtec for the best performance and reliability? THANX

Re: Random vtec controller question (rotascircuit)
No, No, No, No, No, No, No, No.
A VTEC controller is pointless and will not give you any gains, ESPECIALLY on a stock engine. And no, the intake and exhaust cams both crossover at the same time, the second noise you hear is the IAB's.

Re: Random vtec controller question (rotascircuit)
the noise your hearing at 6.5 is the butterflies. they open at 6.5 and its only in your intake side to therefore you hear it there and not where your exhaust is.
vtec at 4.5. butterflies at 6.5.
vtec at 4.5. butterflies at 6.5.
