Default Random Vibrating

I have a '94 GS-R and when i bought it back from my buddy it had a weird vibration upon accelerating right about 2,000-2,500 rpms. I was told by a friend, who build Honda's at a local performace shop, that the half shafts need to be replaced. I did so but it still vibrates like crazy. I was going to have my friend look at it but he is typically very busy so i figured I would ask on here. Anyone know why this would be happening? The whole dash shakes like crazy when it does happen.

Vibration during acceleration only (stops when you close the throttle) is typically a sign of a bad inner CV joint. I've had it happen on numerous different cars, and that's always been the culprit. New axle fixed it right up.

Both axles were replaced 2 years ago. It is currently on the 4th set of axles and no change.

It has been doing this for a long time though. There are new tires on there from about a year ago and it was doing it way before that too.

I went through 4 sets of reman's in the period of 4-5 months. They all had bad inner joints right out of the box. On the 4th try I finally got a set that was decent and lasted me 3+ years.

They are about 4 years old and all have the energy suspension inserts so they are solid.
