Random issues
I have a 90 with a b18b converted to OBD0 with a PR4. The only clip not hooked up is on the thermostat housing as well as the oil pressure sensor on the back of the block. When I finished the swap I had no issues with the engine. It is currently shutting off at complete random, it just shuts right off. When I come to a stop, the car usually cranks back over and fires right up. After starting back up it will shut down again after a short drive, then crank for a while before starting, then shut off down the road...Each time it happens, it takes longer to start back up until I lose patience and call a friend. After letting it sit for a while, it fires right up.
First off, the temp guage works and it is not overheating. So far I have replaced the cap/rotor, plugs, fuel filter, and all the grounds. Any suggestions? Anyone ever have this problem?

its probably unrelated...i had a b18b1 in my 89 crx conv to obd0.. it had an issue overheating becuase the thermo sensor the d16a6 was on the block, and the thermosensor for the b18b1 was on the radiator. so i wired up a switch to manually turn on the fan when needed... im trying to think but i am unsure why the motor would just cut out and stop. i def understand your frustration.. GL homie.
ya I actually am not even running a fan right now as I was too broke to get one when the swap was done and I live in the country where you only ever sit for stop signs and amish buggys lol. Anyone else have any suggestions?
