Hey i bought my 94 ls like a month ago from some dealer and i recently tried to put in a cd player but it ended up not working D:.. So i put the stock one back in, its asking for a code and its not the original one because it was stolen a while back and I hear they replaced it with another original.

I called a honda dealership and they won't give me another code unless it was that cars original stereo. The dealership i bought it from said they dont own the car and honda wont give them the code because of proof of ownership.

I know i talked to some idiot at the honda dealership but how exactly do i go about getting a code for my radio? i have the serial number from the back of it and can provide proof of ownership if necessary. Thanks.

 

just get a new headunit ....never use the stealership

 

Check the top of the deck for a code, back of the owners manuel. Once the search is back up you should be able to find the name of a guy here on HT that works at a dealer, He will look the code up for you.

 

I had to get my code reset on my radio it has to do with a number on the , either top or bottom of the headunit ... the guy said u can see it from the bottom i think but i have the tape player add on so they had to take it out .. but im not sure if its gotta be looked up or if its the last 4-5 numbers

 

i can get the code for you i need the serial # from the headunit and maybe th elast 8 digits of the vin. lmk
