Default Radiator Problem..Need Help

Hi everyone,

I found a crack in the lower bottom of my radiator(see picture). Yet, it's new from Jan of this year. How can it be repaired or did I need to buy a new one. The reason being that itis plastic and not metal. Thanks for your help.
Frank

i had the stem on the cap crack... and melt... and then proceed to spray coolant all over my engine bay and over heat my poor little car. I was steaming like mongolian BBQ. seriously get this fixed soon, and as KB12 said, go with aluminum.

mine gave out at 108k miles. and my friend told me that i was luck that it even lasted that long. i used that as an excuse to buy a fluidyne. one piece of advise though, if you're ever planning on going turbo, think about what your plans are and get a radiator suitable for those needs. if i could go back, i would've bought a half size aluminum radiator. just my .02

You can get it repaired but I wouldn't even bother with those plastic POS radiators. Go to http://www.radiatorbarn.com and order the all-metal radiator and stop worrying about those plastic endtanks blowing out!

I bought a half size aluminum radiator for my teg... I think it was actually for a civic but either way... it worked great with my turbo setup.
