Default Radiator problem, need some help ...

I have a 95 ls with about 80,000 miles on it. i had just replaced the oem radiator with a new metal radiator. soon enough, i see that my upper hose is getting real plumpy ( or expanded or swelled). So a mechanic had told me that its just worn out and i need to get a new upper hose. so then i bought a new upper hose and had installed it. now its all good. but then i noticed that i am losing radiator fluid slowly from my resevoir. it gets nearly empty every 2 or 3 weeks. i always check in and around the engine bay to see any leaks around anywhere. no siteing of any leaks.checked the radiator cap, upper and lower hoses. etc. does anyone know what the problem is? thanks to all that had helped. keep up the good work.

your going to have to do a leakdown test to see if you have a blown headgasket

Leave your car running in one place for a while and let the engine get hot. See if it starts to drip from anywhere.

Do you smell coolant burning off out of the exhaust?

You may have a leak somewhere. Double check all of your hoses. See if there's any residue around where the head meets the block. You're losing or burning coolant off somewhere.

make sure to put in antifreeze, if you put water in there, it will evaporate.
