Quick transmission question

Quick transmission question

Can anyone explain how to disconnect the shifter rod from the transmission. There doesent seem to be any way of unbolting it from the transmission link.

you have to hit the pin out thats holding it in place...

yep, get under that car with a 12m bolt and a big hammer. Watch out for that thumb of yours, better yet use someone else.

choose a bolt that has narrow head so it can seat in the pin's hole as you hammering.
