Default Quick release installation.

if my 94 tegra has air bags do i have to disconnect battery to disarm the airbag to remove the steering wheel? or is there another way to disarm the airbag becuz i dnt wanna mess with it and the airbag blows up in my face.

hoping for your helpful solutions

Yes you should disconnect the battery and wait awhile for any capacitors to discharge, and you should also use the red jumper connector on the airbag harness after disconnecting the harness at the steering wheel. The red jumper connector is located in the little access door on the bottom of the steering wheel.

i just did my quick release two days ago
i just disengaged the battery
un bolted the two bolts on either side of the airbag, unplugged the plugs connected to the airbag and took it out holding it away from me lol

worked well for me
