i bought an auto ls motor need to know if i have to switch the clutch when i put my manual tranny on please help thanks

 

Considering the automatic transmission doesn't have a clutch which you speak of, then yes. And you'll have to take the flywheel off the old motor and put on the new after removing the flexplate. And since you've got it apart, go ahead and put a new clutch in unless you've recently replaced it.

 

man so i got ripped i paid 400 for it and he said all i had to do is put on a 5 speed tranny im an idiot what elso do i have to do

 

Clutch master, clutch slave, hydraulic lines, manual transmission assembly, mount, and the axles might be different too, but not sure about that.

EDIT: Was your car an auto, and you're switching it to a manual, or are you just putting in another motor?

What exactly are you doing? If you're converting an auto to a manual, then you'll need what I just said.
