Default quick question, deforst button lights (3rd gen)

my deforst doesn't illuminate when headlights are turned on like the emergency button does. my question, is it suppose to illuminate other than that little green light when it's pushed?

Yes it's supposed to illuminate.
I have a similar problem with my cruise control light, the letters don't light up (only the green light on-indicator)

Yeah I think a lot of people have problems with it. Some people don't even know the defrost button is suppose to light up. My defrost/and my hazards button don't light up. I'm unsure how to fix it but i know it's a common stupid problem.

pop it out and unplug it. there will be two little circles that kinda look like screws. twist them out and replace the tiny bulbs that are in there.

**** I was just about to ask this question because I realised it didnt light up when I was changing my climate control! haha

Are you sure theres two bulbs there? Last time I checked I think there was only one

Mines light up but only the little "square" thing next to the picture, does the actual picture light up PLUS the little square?

Those little bulbs are hella hard to find and I've only seen them available at honda dealerships. Bloody expensive for what it is too.
