quick question about replacing head

about how much would a shop charge to do it if i already have a used head to replace my old one with?

You should do it yourself, unless you are talking about LS-VTEC. Its a very simple bolt off, bolt on process. Just make sure to replace the head gasket. Screw paying money to take off and put on a head.

but i need to buy new head bolts and studs and gaskets right? how much will that run me

make sure torque it to the right spec and do it in the right way or you'll have to change a new head gasket again.
