it's gonna take you forever, plus you wont have any other opening for the air to come out when you refill. so might as well fill it up the proper way

You're also not going to know how full it is either. I'd try to do it properly, there has to be someone around with the right tools you can borrow from. Goodluck

b-series tranny usually takes 3 and a half quarts of tranny oil. there's a plug on the passenger side of the tranny. use a ratchet to open it up ( i forgot what size) and that should let air get out as the fuids go down that little tube. wont take as long and when you see oil flowing out of the hole on the side, you should be pretty much 3 and a half quarts which means you are full.

you should fill it from the proper hole so that you fill it the proper amount also. just buy a small hose and have a friend fill it from up top while you lay under the car to monitor the level and make sure the hose stays in the tranny

you don't have to remove the vss. there is a drain and fill hole right next to each other.

B-series tranny's hold 2.3 quarts..

You can use 10w-30 conventional motor oil, honda MTF, gm syncromesh/friction modified (if they still make it) or pennzoil synchromesh..

also why the 3 post's?

its funny you say that becuase the vss is always a bitch for me to get out, i just use a funnel with a hose and fill it through the 17mm hole that is for monitoring how full the trans is

that way when its full it drips out a little bit and i quit filling it
