looking at a teg and it doesnt have the intake filter box on.

is that bad for the car? or are their any benefits to it?

No it's not bad, but pretty smart if you bought either that or some cheap intake...

 

Not bad for the car at all!!
Currently i don't have mine on lol my engine is pretty much bone stock i just made a little metal harness for the filter to hold it down.
Pretty much all it does is increase noise.. no real power gains. i kinda like to hear it vroom now and again
