Default Quick question

So I installed a new thermostat today in my b20 and after I bled the coolant and did everything by the book. I took her out for a drive and I came back and only the upper raidiator hose is hot and the lower is not as hot. I took it for about a 5 minute drive. Is this normal or did I install it wrong. I replaced the thermostat and made a gasket perfectly.

i think your all good! the coolant has already been cooled by the time it gets to the lower hose.. just keep an eye on your temp. gauge on the dash, and listen for your fan to kick on, about 5 min. after the car starts

after a termostat install you should run your car for 10-15 mins with the rad. cap off to make sure it works.

but, if the thermostat is pointing to the radiator then you should be fine, just remember to check ur coolant level
