does a namebrand 3" pipe short ram intake perform the same as a no-name brand 3" intake? i just want to know if i have to spend my money on name brand when i could just get a cheap one for the same performance. thanks

 

pretty much the same....if your not worried about CARB or strick emissions, then go with the cheap ebay intake.

 

yes they are the same basically but the air filter could make a difference but u should have searched this, there have been many topics about different intakes

 

cheap intake tubing + k&n filter = good

I have a no name intake on mine. It works just the same as my friends AEM intake on his 96 Integra. I got mine at Pep Boys.

 

I have a cheap intake tube with a k&n filter. I just ordered a Password JDM cf intake chamber. Will i see a bigger gain than my current intake since its a venturi effect into the tb??

 

yeah. does the power chamber intake actually boost performance or give at least 6 hp like the ads say?

i doubt it...but then again, anything is possible. maybe someone has a dyno chart to prove it.

 

ya theyre all pretty much the same, the bends/length looks similiar on most, and most just have a k&n brand of filter on em
