Ok let me know if this is stupid or not, I dont have a job until schools over so i was think if i took the cover off my stock teg's air filter and just taped the hose down so it doesn't fly off if it would may boots my vtec even more? please dont make fun of me if it's just a fetarted idea i mean atleast i'm trying ha ha, well let me know thanks

 

.. you don't want to have a loose filter or no filter all because dirt and rocks will be sucked into your engine and cause cylinder wall damage.
put your airbox back together

 

ebay intake is like 30 bucks dude...thats like saturday night pocket cash...

 

just get a K&N air filter... you will hear your secondaries alot louder. you dont wanan drive filter-less because u dont want dirt to be in your engine

They are fine... Go with it. Much better than what you have now

 

a cheap shot ram or a K&N would begood for your application

dont go ultra ghetto and use dryers tubing

i used to have an aem cold air but i put my stock intake back in with a cold air extension and i make more power and more low end power than an aftermarket intake.

also, cheapest power is found in plugs and wires. weight reduction as well. sport compact car wrote an article about the best power making mods under 150 and spark plugs and wires were listed.
