Default Question on smogcheck

I got a ticket the other day for having Florida license plates. So the cop tells me I have to get a smog with the referee and then change my plates to Cali plates. The question is, will I pass smog with a AEM CAI, Comptech 4-2-1, ITR catback? Thanks for your help.

that looks like it should pass fine.. just be sure to drive the car hard before you bring it in just in case!

you should pass with those minor mods, doesn't really affect emmisions. Like the other guy said, drive the car good up to operatiing temps and even harder would help too. Then if you still have to wait like 10-15 mins to wait for available space to get tested, DO NOT turn off your car, just let it sit there running to keep the cat HOT.

the two parts that would matter both have carb EO#s
make sure the carb EO tags are visible ie: a sticker on the intake and a welded tag on the header.
as long as your vehicle passes the emissions part, you should be okay.

Thanks for the help. BTW, why would you want to run the car hard before doing it?

i think it's so the catalytic convertor works more efficiently.
also so the car isn't in cold start mode.

he gave you a ticket cuz you have fl plates? they should really even be able to give you the ticket...if you said you were from out of state...and that your exempt from all emmisions of CA..i have a friend that his car is registered in Virginia.. and he drives around in his fully built turbo neon.. and they never gave him a ticket when gets pulled over....
