im doing my ls/vtec right now, i can try to take some pictures tonite and show u where it goes. Make sure to use thread lock on the fitting into the head and pipe sealer on the line's threads. Were u able to get ur crank pulley off?

I have yet to see a golden eagle kit that doesn't leak. Not that I have ever done it myself so thats probably why it leaked
. Good luck with it though. Hope it doesn't leak.

yeah i read that but with the golden eagle kit its different! thats why i need help with the kit! uve never seen a golden eagle kit that didnt leak? thats funny because ive never heard someone complain about it or say anyting bad about it at all... anyone else???
ive seen some ppl compain about the leaking, my compaint is that the head gasket seemed like it didn't line up exactly on the block. I thought they were going to give me the exact gasket, but they didn't. Are there differen style blocks that are 81 mm bore?
well sorry to bring to this thread up, but my golden eagle kit is leaking at the sandwahich adapter. Are u suppose to put locktite or or thread sealant on the thread that goes onto the block?
unscrew it, rub some oil on the o ring, oh and make sure the o-ring side is the one facing the block.... and then screw it back on.. its not supposed to leak.. but make sure the flat side is facing out (away from the block)
make sure the flat side is against the oil filter. is it leaking from the place between the oil filter and the golden eagle thing or is it leaking between that and the block
did u take it off and try again? make sure the nipple is installed flush and correctly

If the sandwich plate is leaking, you need to re-install it.

Installation of the plate is critical, it must be done correctly. The unit will NOT leak if it is installed properly. I use this kit all the time without any trouble!!! Here, I will re-post something that I wrote on this before:
Be sure that the silver shaft / bolt that we supply in the kit fits into the center of the black sandwich plate. If this is not CENTERED, then it can leak. It must be installed properly.
Take the unit off the car, hold it with the o-ring facing you. The silver shaft / bolt should fit all the way into the center bore you see.
Flip it over and the built-in washer should be sitting flat on the sandwhich plate!
Get the unit onto the car. Tighten the bolt by hand until it stops. Back it off until the black sandwich plate moves freely. Wiggle it around while pulling it back toward you away from the block. If seats in and stops wiggling, then it is positioned correctly. While still pulling back on the plate, spin the bolt until it stops. Then follow the supplied instructions.
