will the K&N drop in filter fit the icebox or do i have to buy the comptech one? BTW where is the cheapest place to buy a comptech icebox, thanks.

 

buy the comptech one...it flows better, but requires cleaning/oiling at every other oil change.

ok, i understand that the foam one flows better but i was wondering if the K&N one work without any mods on the icebox? anyone?

 

the k&n E-2427 fits in nicely, i had to put a nut on the end of the filter so it would seal up better into the icebox. The E-2427 also has a little angled arm on the end just like the stock filter, i don't know if the comptech filter has an angle or not but the k&n is f*cking expensive!!
