Question: about Type R interior
My collision shop that is working on my new car, just got a yellow type R rolled over, and they are planning to buy it off from the insurance. They asked me if I would like to buy full interior of it for $2000 canadian.
-Seats front and back
-Dash, console
pretty much everything in the car that was not damaged.
Should I go for it ?
Do you guys think it's a good deal ??? should I be another stunna and do full interior swap ???

I have seen Canadian R seats sell for $900-1100 canadian just for the front and back seats.
So i think $2000 is a lot for everything because theres not much different to the dash besides the climate control and gauges and centre console.
See if you can bring it down to $1800 for everything.

Well if you had the money, and youre willing to spend it, then go for it.
Personally, i'd spend the money else where since its a new interior won't add to the overall book value of the car.
Its really just up to your personal preference, how flashy you want your car to be, and the cost of worrying about whether it will attract the wrong attention. Lots of tegs getting broken into or stolen these days. $2000 canadian is not somehting i'd want to put into something so visible in a car that's reported stolen or vandalized as much as it is on this forum.
Good Luck to you.
