a q about lowering
ok...so im finally spending money on my car to lower it. I want to know what drop i should get that would look alright w/ the stock mesh's until i can get wheels. coil overs are out the question, and i know what springs and struts i want already, but suggestions are welcome. thanks
I have sportlines - i am using stock shocks untill they go out - i have had them on for about 1.5 years. The ride is pretty nice - not bouncy at all - when i get my new shocks i aam sure it will be 10 times better though.
I like them b/c it gives an aggressive drop without being slammed. I don't scrape on anything except an occasional speed bump. No camber issues either.

yea speedbumps are a problem....my school has a ton of them...but all of them are smaller than the standard size except for one. The thing that im afraid of is scraping on that one bc my moms mustang gt scrapes it if there is a backpack or two in the back. Im pretty sure a 2" to 2.5" drop will be alright for me
I have Neuspeed Race on KYB AGX 4 way adjustable shocks..
Speedbumps are no problem, and the ride is great..
Just depends on how low you want, haha Im tucking stock 14's with no rub
and no bottoming out, anywhere!
